SWEET JAM-PICK UP THE PIECES

Released in 2001, it was the cover version of the musisc group Sweet Jam.

"Pick Up the Pieces" is a 1974 song by the Average White Band from their album AWB. It was the group's most successful song, and features one of the most recognizable grooves in funk music. It is essentially an instrumental, apart from the song's title being shouted at several points in the song.

"Pick Up the Pieces" was released in the United Kingdom in July 1974 but failed to make an impression. When the album was released in the United States in October 1974radio stations started to pick up on the song, and on 22 February 1975, it went to the top of the US singles chart and peaked at number five on the soul charts.
After its US success the song charted in the UK and climbed to number six. "Pick Up the Pieces" also made it to number eleven on the US disco chart.

THE FALCONS

STEVIE WONDER-I JUST CALLED TO SAY I LOVE YOU

Stevie Wonder, Ingrid Segieth and Frank Farian

Stevie Wonder and Frank Farian´s Music Team

Music-Studio in Rossbach near Frankfurt (Germany) was built using digital technology for the first time. For Frank Farians musicians project he was able to make a dream came true: he produced several albums with top and singers of the international music scene, Stevie Wonder, Mike Oldfield, Terence Trent D'Arby, Meat Loaf...

Stevie Wonder produced his world hit "I Just Called to Say I Love You" in Rossbach.

"I Just Called to Say I Love You" is a song written, produced and performed by Stevie Wonder. It was one of Wonder's most commercially successful singles.

The song was first featured in the 1984 comedy The Woman in Red, along with two other songs by Wonder, and scored number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks from October 13, 1984, and also became Wonder's only solo UK number-one success, staying at the top for six weeks. It also became his tenth number-one on the R&B chart, and his fourth number-one on the adult contemporary chart. In addition, the song won both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for Best Original Song.
Stevie Wonder also expressed his gratitude for being able to record "I Just Called To Say I Love You" with Frank Farian and suggested one of his song to Boney M.: "My Cherie Amour", but that is another story...

DORIAN-DANGEROUS MAN

In 2007, the internationally famous German producer, Frank Farian became involved with Florian to work with him in Rossback Studios, Frankfurt Germany. Frank Farian and Florian join forces for the production of "Smile" and "Dangerous Man," produced in Zurich.

Florian was born in Montreal, Canada, not so long ago, he grew up in Quebec city, precisely in Levis on the south shore. He was singing even before he learned how to ride a bicycle… Former lead singer for several thrash metal band (Genocide, Dissection with whom he signs his first record contract for the Lp «Final Genocide») From the time he was a child his interests centered on literature, art and history. This contributed towards his playing folk music and the blues as he traveled from city to city like a “Bohemian-Gyspy.” After many adventures in Old Europe with his back pack and his guitar Florian decides to settle in Paris, where he lives selling poems and short stories. He sold his works in the streets, cafes and restaurants. He shared his music wherever he could. He could still be seen and heard until a couple of years ago, singing and playing his music in the metro, or wherever he could. Back In 2001 Florian was fortunate to meet Nicolas Richard a French composer/arranger, with whom he begins a collaboration in studio singing on demos for many well knowned artists in France, such as Florent Pany, Jane Birkin and many others. Their association leads to the release of the album, “Rêve de saison,” produced by Claude Cayla, in 2003. In the summer 2004, Florian is introduced by the colorfull Franky Fonell, to electro music scene, and to the young Swiss producer Chris Reece. Together they will record a few projects for Zurich area’s local DJ’s. In 2005 Florian is on the Zurich’s « Street Parade » Compilation; that year, one of the best sellers cds in Switzerland, with the track: « Feed me » (35 000 cds sold) The year after, they are on the « Street Paradise » compilation, (summer 2006) with two tracks;« Sweet sensation » and « sexy girl » Few months later, the internationaly famous german producer: Frank Farian, (Boney M., Milli Vanilli, La Bouche, Terence Trent D’Arby) after hearing the song « Sexy Girl » contacts Florian and invites him several times to the « Rossbach studios » in Frankfurt Germany to offer him the first part for his music-hall: «Daddy cool » presented in London and in Berlin… This is no problem for him to be produced by Mr Frank Farian, it's even quite an honor! but Florian is not really warm at this point for the music-hall things… They stay in touch for the whole year…but nothing concrete happened unfortunately… Though Mr Farian generously provides some substantial means to Florian to record many demo-songs with Chris Reece in his studios in Zurich…among other songs they record «Smile!» And « Dangerous man » (now both available on itunes) He also records a remix of Depeche mode “Enjoy the silence” one of the world’s biggest electro track in the year 2007.

LOFT featuring GINA MOHAMED-SUMMER SUMMER

German Eurohouse group. Loft stands for 'Live Our Fathers Teaching'.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, the Williams brothers came to Germany with the US Army. While in Nürnberg, they were hired to front the new project of Cyborg DMP GmbH / Nosie Katzmann already working on Captain Hollywood Project.
Their first single was "Summer Summer" in 1993. Featuring the vocals of Gina Mohammed, ex-Milli Vanilli, the song first became a hit in Europe and in Canada the following year.
"Hold On", sung by Kim Sanders, received more attention. The group Fun Factory even used the same melody for their hit single "Close To You" (1994). Remixes of "Hold On" permitted the track to survive in clubs.
Following singles "Wake The World" and "Love Is Magic" generated enough interest for an album to be produced. Vocalist Lori Hölzel AKA Lori Glori completed the opus, which fitted in the Eurodance parameters of the era.
Their second album, "Future World", was released in 1995 with Sandra Steinborn and Christiane Eiben on vocals. "Mallorca" (1996) was the last single produced by the Cyborg / Katzmann team.
Recent singles were produced by Andreas Hüging / Michael Abbing and featured the vocals of Sue.

JODIE ROCCO (REAL MILLI VANILLI)-GIVE ME MORE

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She sang background vocals for Milli Vanilli and later Real Milli Vanilli, Try'N'B and Shell And The Ocean.

In 1989 a group called Milli Vanilli, fronted by Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan released a successful album, Girl You Know It's True. The sound on the album was the brainchild of producer, Frank Farian. The group had several hit singles including, "Girl You Know It's True," "Baby Don't Forget My Number," "Girl, I'm Gonna Miss You" and "Blame It On The Rain."

However, it was soon revealed that Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan had not sung a note on the album. As it turned out, the talent behind the album consisted of professional and talented artists and musicians. Frank Farian personally selected the best in Europe to work on the album.

The Real Milli Vanilli is: Brad Howell, Jodie Rocco, Linda Rocco, John Davis and Charles Shaw.
